What is a UK Visa Property Inspection Report?

An immigration property inspection report is used for your immigration application whether you are applying a spouse visa, fiancé visa or settlement visa. BOOK IN YOUR PROPERTY INSPECTION REPORT

You have come across our website, or had a referral from a friend, colleague or even your solicitor or immigration advisor to use our property inspection report. Just give us a call or use the contact form so that we can give you a transparent price which is all inclusive of the travel, inspection, preparation and dispatch or your report to you along with the official copy of the property register which we include and cover the price off. We will also explain what the process involved is and look at appointments to suit your availability, whether mornings, afternoons or evenings and weekends, these are all provided as standard. We can book nearly all clients within a week of their call.

ASSESSOR TURNS UP

On the day of the visit, your assessor will call you to confirm the details of your appointment, her will also provide you with any real time traffic issues that may delay him or her in getting to you. Once he or she arrives a visual inspection of the outside of your property will be made, notes will be taken including whether the property is a detached / semi / terraced, if there is off road parking (amongst other checks). Inside prior to an inspection your Assessor will take details of the residence, check ID and any other relevant document which you will be notified off at the time of booking your property inspection report. You will be asked a standard set of queries relating to your property. Once complete, all habitable spaces will be measured using our digital measurement devices. Your Assessor will notify you of both the overcrowding and environmental standard at the inspection. Payment is taken at the inspection itself unless arranged otherwise i.e. online payment or invoice to your solicitor or immigration advisor.

REPORT PREPARED

After your immigration property inspection, your assessor will obtain the land registry property register for you using their priority service and prepare your report, which will include a cover letter, a 4 page plus report bearing the official stamp and the official copy of the property register. This is than either dispatched the same day or the next day at the latest, this depends on what time you have your appointment as the post office opening times does affect this. Once you receive the report you can go through it to make sure that all your personal and property details are accurate. If there is an error by us we will rectify this for you, you off course will not be charged for this. Simply submit the report to the United Kingdom Visa and Immigration service as part of your application – and wait to here the good news!
